Service

Every luxury watch deserves the same care with which it was made. That is what we provide.

Why trust us?

We treat the finest Swiss mechanics to the highest standard.

A Rolex Submariner, a Patek Philippe Nautilus or a Richard Mille is more than a watch: it is decades of engineering heritage, extraordinary materials and precision craftsmanship. In our workshop we treat that heritage with the same humility and expertise with which it was made in Geneva, Le Locle or Le Brassus.

Every repair and service is carried out by our experienced watchmakers, using high-quality parts matched to the calibre. Your watch comes back not merely repaired, but fully inspected, cleaned and calibrated.

Exclusive Swiss Watches provides an independent service and is not part of any manufacturer's official service network. Work carried out by us does not constitute a manufacturer's warranty repair and is not a substitute for the manufacturer's own service.

Our services

Full Service

Complete overhaul · Recommended every 3–5 years

During a full service the watch is completely disassembled. Every component is individually cleaned, inspected and replaced where necessary. The movement is reassembled, lubricated and then regulated with precision instruments. The process ends with a water-resistance test, and the watch returns to its owner as though it had just left the factory.

Movement Cleaning & Lubrication

Precision movement care

Regular cleaning and lubrication is the foundation of a long life for mechanical and automatic movements. Using specialised ultrasonic equipment we remove spent lubricants and contamination, then treat every contact point with Swiss precision watch oil. Afterwards the watch runs more accurately and the mechanism's lifespan is extended.

Refinishing & Polishing

Aesthetic restoration

Professional removal of the scratches and wear marks acquired over the years, using specialised polishing equipment and compounds. Steel, gold, titanium and ceramic cases and bracelets can all be treated. Satin, polished and brushed surfaces are restored to their original state. The process removes no excess material: the watch's contours and crisp edges are preserved.

Water-Resistance Check

Gaskets & pressure test

Rubber gaskets age naturally and need replacing every 2–3 years, even if the watch never touches water. With professional pressure-testing equipment we check the complete sealing of the case, then restore the original water-resistance rating with factory-specification gaskets where needed. Particularly recommended for divers' and sports watches.

Precision Adjustment & Regulation

Restoring accuracy

Using specialised chronometer testing instruments we measure and adjust the watch's accuracy in all six positions. By adjusting the regulator eccentric we optimise the rate to within thousandths of a second. At the end of the process we return the watch with a documented test result, proving that it meets the manufacturer's accuracy specifications.

Demagnetisation

Removing magnetic interference

In a modern environment, phones, laptops, speakers and magnetic clasps can all disturb the hairspring and gear train of a mechanical movement, causing inaccurate timekeeping. With professional demagnetising equipment we restore the original accuracy in minutes: without disassembly and with the watch's integrity fully preserved.

Strap & Buckle Replacement

Leather · Steel · Rubber · Titanium

We hold a wide selection of original manufacturer straps and buckles, as well as premium aftermarket alternatives. Leather, steel, rubber, textile and titanium straps, plus Oyster, Jubilee, President and Milanese bracelet types are all available. Replacement takes only minutes and can be done on the spot in our salon.

Battery Replacement

Quartz & hybrid movements

For quartz and hybrid watches we carry out professional battery replacement, checking and replacing the gaskets at the same time so the battery's protection is not compromised. After fitting we perform a water-resistance test. Following a battery change the watch's accuracy and water resistance are fully restored.

The process

How does a service work?

01

Intake & Diagnosis

When the watch arrives we carry out a detailed inspection. Every sign of wear, fault and required intervention is documented, then we send an itemised quote for your approval.

02

Disassembly & Cleaning

Complete disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning of the movement. Every component undergoes microscopic inspection: worn elements are replaced with high-quality parts matched to the calibre.

03

Repair & Reassembly

Reassembly is carried out with Swiss precision instruments. The type and quantity of lubricants are determined by the requirements of the specific calibre.

04

Testing & Return

Every watch we return undergoes a complete accuracy, water-resistance and function test. We hand it back with a documented test sheet and a warranty: cleaned, polished and in perfect condition.
